A detailed report will be provided usually within 24 hours of the completion of the inspection. The report can include up to 100 photos and comments of all findings. It will also include documentation of all visible model numbers of the components on the RV to make future diagnosis and repairs much easier. The seller ( private or dealership) must be made aware that in order to properly inspect the RV, it will need to be hooked up to all utilities including fresh water, electricity, and sewer if possible for the inspection. Propane source must be adequate and required amount of fuel for generator operation. Additionally if equipped with an absorption refrigerator, it must be turned on at least 13 hours prior to the inspection to ensure cooling.
For private party sales, the seller is welcome to be on the premises and may even be asked to operate/demonstrate some of the functions. All precautions will be taken to ensure no damage may encurr due to negligence on the Inspectors part. The inspection in not invasive and will be respectful of the property.
You have the option to add a fluid analysis sample taken of any oils or coolant. These samples will be shipped to a lab for professional assesment. This is a good way to guage the health of your internal mechanical components. Tow vehicles & Generators are good items to keep an eye on.
